Question to the whole team:

Did someone's USCIS online account ever update?

I got the non-biometrics needed and 48 Month extension - while my online account doesn't show any of these updates on it.

Or is that normal ๐Ÿ˜…

Hey to all fellow April filers! My wife and I were a bit late with filing โ€” her GC expires next week! But fortunately there were no mistakes with the application and she now has an extension letter in hand.

Timeline:

4/24: Form I-751 delivered to Phoenix Lockbox

4/27: Credit card charged (late afternoon PST)

5/5: I-797 Notice of Action receipt delivered

5/8: Biometrics re-use and online account letters delivered

The receipt, biometrics, and online account letters all had 5/02 issue dates.

Never received text updates despite including a number so we were a little nervous we had made a mistake with the form until the card charge notifications came through.

If it helps, I got the same things you did and my online account has the same status. I guess itโ€™s normal?

Probs shouldn't overthink their online updates. I'm good for 48 month and will now wait for like 25-28 months to hear back

Just got the 48 month extension letter.  I guess the wait begins....

However, I do have a question about when to file for Naturalization.  In our case, my wife is married to a U.S. Citizen, so it's a 3 year wait until an N400 can be filed.  So, if the green card says "Resident since 7/14/21", then is the anniversary date 7/14/24 (3 years from green card date)?  And the earliest filing date is 4/15/24?

Or do I have that logic wrong?

Just saw some of the processing times change. California Service Center went down to 17 months, Potomac increased to 28.5 months.

I absolutely wouldn't mind to see my case being moved from Potomac to any other site. I wonder if they filed mine with Potomac as its the closest to my residence?

Still keeping my fingers crossed for a rather fast processing time

Great question. Potomac is actually farthest for me. Really not sure why they sent it there instead of California Service Center (Iโ€˜m in LA).

I dont think there's any logic behind what and how they assign it. But if a service center like Potomac is so far behind everything I doesn't make sense to put more workload on them until they catch up. I somewhere read that they will process current filings prior before working on the backload from 2020-21. If that's true or not - we will see
