So I have two NVC cases which is for my spouse and my step-son. I applied for a joint sponsor which was just approved today. On my spouse's NVC case, the joint sponsor also wrote my step-son's name in the family immigrating with my spouse on the form i864 and I would have thought that information would carry over in my step-son's NVC case but it seems like it doesn't since I'm the only one listed as sponsor.

My question for those who have done this, do I have to apply for a joint sponsor on my step-son's case and remake the i864 in which my stepson would be the principal immigrant and my spouse would be written under family immigrating with the principal immigrant? or should the information carry over once NVC  looks at my spouse's NVC case?

Just to clarify things...Do NVC takes time to approve a Joint Sponsor after AOS is submitted? If so how long did  your case takes  exactly to approve the joint sponsor of your case?
