Hi all!

We have finally had our petition approved and received a letter from USCIS saying the case has been transferred to NVC.

What is the correct order of requirements leading up to the interview and onwards?

Will I (UK beneficiary) receive a letter stating when to fill in the DS-160 form?

Any help would be great.

kind regards,

Marc

Hey congrats! We just got ours approved as well.

I'm curious how long it'll take to receive the NVC case number. Our approval date was March 23, 2023. I think someone said up to eight weeks, but curious if someone has a better estimate.

Do you know If we just need to wait until hearing from the NVC or is there anything we can complete for this visa beforehand? Like police checks etc?

thanks,

Marc

You can join

Check the London consulate info

and maybe follow other Timelines with UK beneficiaries

https://www.visajourney.com/portals/index.php?country=United+Kingdom

It would help with the visajourney stats if you fill out your Timeline as well.

Keep an eye on this for timeframes.

We got our welcome letter about 3 days after approval.

K1 applicants do not receive a welcome letter from NVC. The process is very very different from CR1/IR1 spousal visa.

Congratulations on the I-129F approval!  Once CEAC status turns "Ready", submit the DS-160 form, pay the MRV fee, then book the K1 visa interview appointment through the online portal -- https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv
