Just to clarify..my mother is not a Kuwaiti citizen and not a Kuwaiti resident and she applied from US embassy in Algeria (North Africa).

 

when you fill the visa form they ask who you will be paying for the trip and she listed him as the sponsor.

Hey,, In case they don't get approved for the visitor visa. My husband will apply for them when eligible (when he becomes a US citizen).  He has his green card for 5 months now. Will the denial of their visitor visa effect them getting approved for I-130?

My husband's sister who is a Canadian citizen  applied for them (family based), so the parents-in-law are visiting her. What kind of visa will they need if they want to visit USA, being that they are a tourist in Canada themselves.. Thank you!!

Their citizenship won't change just from being tourists in Canada.  So they will still need B visitor visa to visit the US.
