Hello everyone, is there someone eb1/eb2 who received their IL for the Paris embassy the last 3 months . There's no way to find any information about the delay for this embassy.

If your timeline is correct then your PD only became current at the beginning of April? So there’s no delay, you were added to the queue for an interview then and hopefully will get an IL in May.

Good luck.

Yes exactly I'm current since April first. Paris seems to be fast and in March 10 Eb2 received their green card but we don't know their PD.

Paris is fast but there’s no delay if you were only added to the queue for an interview at the start of the month. I’d expect you to get an IL in the next month or so, for an interview in June as a rough guide. That would be the norm - if you get to the end of June with no IL then I’d consider that a delay.

Best of luck.

Hi all.
please how long does it takes for documents review. Our civil documents were delivered on the 29th April. No messages yet though nvc timeframe says they reviewing docs submitted May 6. Is the timeline different from employment based & there was no notification that document was received.

Hi Guys,

Please can someone tell me if I have to apply separately for social security number after entering the US with my immigrant visa or if it is already part of my green card petition and it will be sent to me after I enter the US?

The published timelines are for document uploads.

It's usually an extra week or so for those of us that have to send docs by mail, as it takes time for them to be opened, scanned etc. So I'd expect you to be DQ'ed any day now.

Good luck.

There will be an option in DS260 form regarding SSN. if you choose yes, it will be automatically send to the address provided.

Hello , @Rocha3how did it go ?

All easy and fast. The officer said/asked if i lived in the usa for 5 years, i corrected and said no it was 7. Then she said/asked if i went to the us in 2016 and i said no it was 2014. She asked what did i do for so long, I answered “my phd” and then she said ok approved!

Hi all!

Is there anybody awaiting for an interview appointment in Madrid?. I am applying for an EB2 and got DQ on December 2023 so it has been quite some time already. I am a bit surprise this part is taking so long, not sure if anyone have idea of the waiting times for the embassy in Spain.

Thanks

it is usually quicker than that. What’s your Priority Date?

Please fill in your timeline when you get a mo.

Not in Spain, but in Paris. Someone (with an EB2 case) in Paris who also DQ'ed in December 2023 but is still waiting for the interview letter.  I'm not sure if this is a special case or if it's becoming a trend...
