Hi anyone know of finding  a job from the UK in the US is feasible?

I have read usually your network within the US is the best and most effective way to find a job.

After this try focused searches in linkedin, indeed and others, make sure you change your location to the place you want to find a job in or are likely to land first.

In summary your best bet is a local network that can help over in the US.

Hi not sure if someone could help...

P.d 11.06.23 d.q. Nov.23

My workplace want me in the US sooner on an L1.

Is it possible to go on an L1 , whilst simultaneously waiting on the IL for the eb2 niw? It would be a pain because I would have to fly back for the medical and then again for the Interview.

Based on my p.d I don't think I would be getting an IL anytime soon, hence the temptation to go on an L1 for now.

Thoughts?

Many thanks

Hi everyone,

I've updated the table above to reflect my current status. Interview letter arrived on January 9th, interview was today, February 13th.

Everything went very well, in and out within an hour. Only basic questions and nothing but smiles and a friendly demeanor from the consular staff.

We were told to come back on Friday to pick up the passports 👍

Hello Everyone

I had my interview on Feb 16tj. It took less than 15 minutes, and it was smooth, underwhelming smooth haha. The CO asked four questions about my study, where I lived before and if started applying to Jobs; then she told me it was approved.

It stated it was Administrative processing the same day after the interview in CEAC, that continued to be the case for the next two following business day. In the third day, it stated issues; I picked up the passport on the fifth WD.

My experience was linked to the embassy in LND; for extra questions about my timeline, check my TL in my page.

Hello everyone!

I updated my visa timeline

i had my interview on 02/26 everything went smoothly!

only related questions about my proposed endeavor and past visits to the US

I have a 5 year old that was born in the US with my tourist visa due to a complication in my pregnancy, so they asked about that time I stayed there but nothing further!

thank you for everything we’re all set with our Immigrant Visas!

good luck to you all

no, not at all! But she attended just because I didn’t have anyone else to take care of her!

Hi @Laulau thanks for the info. Quick questions, after your PD was current, did you receive your IL right away, in the first week or something? Did you see any changes in your application on the ceac site? What was your embassy?

Thanks again and have a nice trip
