Hey
If you dont mind me asking.

What was the problem with medical report exactly? Didn't visa medicals send the report on time? Or was it a missing document from your side.

Also is it worth to know what was the missing document they asked you to email it? Asking to know if it's something that I should pay attention to.

Hello Everyone

I have been missing on this thread. It's really informative, so thankful to everyone spending time to detail their experience.

I have my interview in a couple of weeks for my NIW case in London. I am stressing a lot out of fear from 221g AP because I am from Sudan.

I had my petition approved based on my research merit and having an advance degree. I did recieve J1 visas in the past twice and had AP the second time just for two days.

I am wondering if there's anything that can be done from myside.

1. I did validate all required documents twice.

2. I will have all evidence submitted in the petition in original format or print in case asked for.

3. I detailed in a document my trips to Sudan since I left the country five years ago, I am also submitting my I-94 documents, I am planning to hand over the CO these documents when asked if I visited Sudan in the last 10 years.

I am wondering what more can I do from my side to not fall into AP again,

I am having a mock interview with an ex CO to go over my case and help me answering that question as well.

In all honesty, I think you're overthinking it. You're likely to get asked a handful of questions at most (I got asked two IIRC) and they'll just be verifying what your application says. If you do get put in AP because of your country of birth (unfortunately, quite likely) then that's going to happen regardless.

There really is no need to fear the interview or worry about what you'll be asked. As long as you can give genuine answers to questions about your research and skills, you'll be just fine.

Best of luck.

True. I think too.

Basically they want to verify all civil documents and Police documents.

not to worry @dolibash.

if AP also, it will be fine.

Hope this helps -

The medical report from our baby was delayed waiting 1st vaccinations and for some strange reason they wanted a copy of wife's  CV, even though I am the applicant.

Then it took about 10 days for the visa to indicate issued, we now have our passports with visa and the envelopes to take with us when we 1st enter the US.
