All my documents were approved last month, feb 28 and I’m wondering how long is it taking to get an interview date in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic for Ir5 visa??
I’ve seen son timeline but not for this type of visa so I was wondering if anybody had an idea.

Hi there, my husband petitioned his parents and they got DQ on Jan 24, 2023 and still nothing. We have been trying to see timelines for IR-5, but I guess there aren’t any recent ones from DR😞. I guess the wait is around 4-6 months period for IR-5 as well🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah, that’s what I’ve heard, 4-6 months. It’s ridiculous 😢  but all we can do now it’s wait.
If you don’t mind and you remember let me know when he gets their letter, cause that would me mine could be getting closer!!

I requested a expedite for my parents cases and nvc sent it to the embassy in Santo Domingo and they approved it. I received and email with instrucción to schedule their interview. I had to answer some questions and before I could select the dates it said that I need to wait for approval, that it was under review and they would sent me an email when the request was approved.
Does anybody know how long they take to approve the request to schedule the interview.  It’s been over a week and I still haven’t received anything. It’s driving me crazy
