If you are filing for spouse (IR/CR1) and child (IR CR2) then the sponsorship is required for EACH one individually. So I 864 for each one. Note .. only count 1 immigrant on each I864 .. for spouse do not also count child in the sponsors household and visa versa

My wife have filed one as a main sponsor and my Mother in Law have filed one for Joint Sponsorship they might ask for W2s/1099s for both so be prepared for those as well just to be on the safe side also if you are not filling taxes i suggest for you to prepare a Explanation for not filing taxes letter too as the Resubmission and reviewing time wait sucks when you are right there for DQ (what happened to me and my wife) we are still waiting for RFE.
