Getting a B1/B2 after an overstay?

That'll be first question in the head of a consular officer looking at B1/B2 application.

Someone stole her money? Then how could she afford to live in the US with no job for over 2 years if she was broke? This is hysterical. Why was she here with a b2 and not with VWP? .And why does she want to come back already? Does she not have a job? We know all of her money was stolen so she's broke, right? 😕I have hundreds of more questions but I won't bother.  B2 visas are for VISITING, not living in the US. Sounds like she has a significant other and she's trying to come back to live with him/her. Anywho, she has a zero chance of getting another b2 visa anytime soon. At bare minimum, she has a 10 year ban.
