Yes.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Hello,
I am going to file adjustment of status for my wife but I would like to know how much

is the total cost of all the forms that are needed.

How did you spend for everything including exams and fingerprints.
Can someone share with me this information from their experience?
Thank you so much for your help!

$1225. Paid it using personal check.

Forms I-131 and I-765 are free when filed together with I-485.

Medical exam is about $500, paid with credit card.

Hi friends,

I'm a US citizen, I married my wife last year. She entered thru Mexican the border with a Parole but her parole

is now expired more than a year. Can I file a petition for her (i130) and apply for Adjustment Of Status i-485?

The question is due to this paragraph I read in the I-485 INSTRUCTIONS:

PLEASE READ THIS BELOW:

-Evidence of Continuously Maintaining a Lawful Status Since Arrival in the United States Anyone applying under the following immigrant categories must submit evidence to show they have continuously maintained lawful immigration status while in the United States and are therefore not barred from adjustment by INA section 245(c)(2): applicants applying under a family-based preference category or an employment-based preference category; special immigrant religious workers, Afghan or Iraqi nationals, and international broadcasters; and selectees under the Diversity Visa Lottery program. Acceptable evidence may include, but is not limited to, copies of the following documents.

THANK YOU MUCH FOR YOUR FEEDBACK!
