You know, to be perfectly honest with you.... I don't think you can choose a wrong service center. For everyone, time is everything. If you are patient, you can simply send it to either Vermont or Texas. If they do not process cases from P.R. they will forward it to the appropriate center. I BELIEVE. I'm no professional but I do recall hearing that another member sent their's to the wrong service center and it was corrected within 2 weeks and sent to the right place. Since P.R. is a US territory, I dont see how you would really have any problems. I've heard people say "when in doubt, send it to vermont". I hope this helps. Actually I hope you can find a definitive answer. You should have a local office in San Juan that can help you better. Good luck.

Hi! I am about to send I-130 and I-485 with the supporting documents and other forms like G325a, I-765, I-864, I-131. I am a US citizen living in San Jose and I am applying for my wife. Could you tell what address/service center I should be sending the papers to?

Thanks.

San Jose, California? Don't the instructions say to file at the California Service Center?

Are you filing for a K3?

Nini - Vancouver BC, Canada (she's the one who does the forum thing)

Bee - Devon PA, USA (he's the one who gave her the shiny ring)

Here we go again...

Removal of conditions @ VSC

9/4/2010 - sent!

Wooops! Perhaps you meant San Jose California?? If so, please ignore my earlier post. I have been to Puerto Rico a few times and there's also a San Jose there. And no, I don't mean San Juan. Ok, til next time...peace.

Send everything to the Chicago Lock box as it says on the front of the I-485!

(I know, I'm probably too late)

The special instructions under the forms section of the USCIS site tells you exactly where to send the forms as of 30 July 2007. I suggest that you read them as no one here has given you the correct answer yet.

I finally got rid of the never ending money drain. I called the plumber, and got the problem fixed. I wish her the best.

So what is this correct answer that nobody has given yet? I just read that page and it says to send to the Chicago Lockbox.

The USPS does have some 24/7 facilities so mail does happen on Sundays.
