Question about proof of US citizenship

Hello all, I am confused about what evidence I need to prove I am a US citizen in the i-129f. Will the front picture of my passport be enough proof? I don't have a copy of my birth certificate handy.

Yes, photocopy of the passport's biographical page is enough.

Awesome! In some videos online (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZQsGyn55zag&t=608s )   the beneficiary's birth certificate is included. Is this only because she visited the US previous to the application?

Might be because they did not follow the instructions. The beneficiary's birth certificate is not required.

Just to confirm and double check, I have seen places where it says all stamped places are required also? This has been updated then?

I would recommend that somewhere along the line you obtain your birth certificate especially if you are going to continue down the immigration lane with USCIS. They are fairly easy to obtain!

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

Back in  2009 we had to  include all passport pages even if blank

that was discontinued long ago

following site has current instructions for I 120 fiancee which expires 3/30/2024  which best answers your questions

follow USCIS not youtube or facebook

For now. The interview letter for your  spouse’s I-485, I-751, and N-400 interviews, will say she has to bring your U.S. birth certificate. Rarely is it enforced at the interview.
