I like a job where you know your hours are not going to change. My last job was like that. You would be say 8-5, then if someone didnt show up, you would have to stay over. Sometimes for another 8 hours. If you had plans they were f$cked/ I really hate that. Dont blame him for getting another job.

Still waiting for our cards...Had to file I-90 as they sent them to the wrong address.

March 9th, 2010, Received GC that has been lost in the mail for 10 months. Still waiting for my son's that is lost as well.

Filed Waiver for my son's 10 year GC and it was approved. He finally received his GC after its been missing for 2 years.

Thanking God this is over for 10 years.

yeah, it would be so nice if I knew what time he would be coming home every night.... and I do hope he gets day shift with his new job... we never can do anything during the week because of his hours :angry: and the weekends are spent doing errands etc... :P

I can relate, my husband is sleeping right now, after having just worked 9pm to 7am. he works all sorts of shifts, all the time, and lately his days off are to allow him to sleep before he goes in for an early morning shift... he's trying to hang in there because there's rumor of a promotion coming down the line, but I give him till summer before he starts looking for another job.

marilyn, when i was younger..i worked similar hours for a detox center...and never felt rested..always tired and just grunmpy..

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I just talked to hubby and he said he could possibly be home early tonight, well at least on time :P.... around 8 or 9pm :D

he said he worked his butt off today and did the same amount of work people might take all day to do in only 4 hours :o

April 12/11 - biometrics done - I start studying

May - get the letter

June 27 - Interview and oath ceremony - same day

Lifting Conditions

Feb 5/08 - Sent paperwork by USPS - priority

Feb 14/08 - NOA issued

Feb 28/08 - Biometrics letter received for The Bronx Office - have to reschedule

Mar 22/08 - Biometrics rescheduled - LOVE the Saturday appointment!

Feb ?/09 - done!

hubby is snoring away in bed at the moment.... they kept them longer at work last night because the shift that starts at 4pm wanted to get out in 8 hours :P ... so they had my hubby's shift help them :angry: and hubby's shift starts at 12pm so they had to stay over 8 hours..... it really doesn't make any sense :unsure:

thanks for the good wishes guys.... hopefully this will be only for a fw more months and then he can get a job with a day shift
