Hello all

My filipina wife has her greencard and we are flying to Manila from the USA to see her parents. We want to pop up to Korea mainland for a few days. Cannot find good information. I don't need a visa but I'm wondering if she does or not?

Based on this website:

"Currently, due to COVID restrictions, South Korea has suspended its VISA-FREE entry with US green card. The above VISA-FREE rules only apply when South Korea reinstates its VISA-FREE entry with US green card."

Not sure how up to date this is. So probably need visa if this is still the case.

Normally no problem but apparently not now.  Apply for her visa.  They will grant 5 year multiple entry almost automatically with minimal effort for US Green Card holder.
