I am from Denmark and a very rich country in europe to leave.

I am only here because I am in love with my American husband.

I just still wondering.

Why is it that I see so many bad lovestories about US woman is falling in love with a man from a country which is not good to USA.

And all of a sudden this man don't want her after they finally have their possibility to apply for AOS or already have it.

What is wrong with this american woman since she can fall so deep in love with this man?

Dosn't that smell pretty rotten. Or is it just me?

I made the move becauseat the time my husband didn't want to move. I didn't really mind but love is dumb, deaf and blind. Now after everything that is happening, work etc.. we're considering moving to the uk in the future maybe.

No slaps here. If I am understanding you correctly you wonder why some American women fall in love with men from poor countries and then are surprised when they are dumped when the person is finished with their immigration?

If you are implying that these women are stupid - well that's another kettle of fish and really just kind of mean of you to say.

I have absolutely no idea how often this happens (and would venture to say that you probably don't have any idea either), if you are basing your broad generalization on a few dramatic stories here on VJ - that's probably a mistake.

On the flip side, I'm sure there are con people who are female who do the same thing.

Marriages fail for lots of reasons. If two people have been in a long distance relationship for a short period of time and they don't know the language or culture well, it can be easy for someone to make all the right romantic overtures and for the USC to fall hard without thinking about it. And there's certainly ample incentive for a person from a poor background to want to come to the U.S.

It's easy to see how the USC can be duped. They're in love, they never imagine it will happen to them, &c. Just like any other relationship.
