How long has it taken everyone to get their EAD card in the mail? Our card production was ordered 07/18/2007. Thanks for your help!

May 2, 2006- Sent I-129F to Nebraska

May 5, 2006-NOA1

June 1, 2006-Transferred to CSC

June 14, 2006-Received letter confirming transfer

June 15, 2006-Touch!

June 16, 2006-Touch!

June 17, 2006-Touch!

June 30, 2006-Received RFE!

June 30, 2006-mailed RFE to CSC (overnight)

July 3, 2006-Touch!

July 4, 2006-Touch!

July 5, 2006-CSC received RFE

July 6, 2006-Received email confirming CSC received RFE

July 27, 2006-Touch!

July 31, 2006-Approval!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (SOOOOOOOO EXCITED)

August 1, 2006- Email stating we had been approved!

August 1, 2006- worried about what comes next!

August 7, 2006-package sent to NVC

August 8-17-package was received by NVC, processed, and sent to London Embassy

August 17, 2006-Rich received packet 3 from the Embassy in London

August 22, 2006-Rich mails packet 3 back to London Embassy

August 31, 2006-Rich has his medical

September 21, 2006- I received an email from the Consulate with the Interview date

September 23, 2006- Rich received Packet 4

October 18, 2006- Interview! Approved!!!!!!!!!!!

October 20, 2006- Recieved visa in the mail

May 04, 2007-Sent AOS and EAD packets

May 09, 2007-NOA1

June 01, 2007-Biometrics appt.

June 12, 2007-AOS transferred to California

July 16, 2007-Touch (AOS)

July 17, 2007-Tourch (AOS)

July 18, 2007-EAD approved!!!!!!!!

July 27, 2007-EAD arrives in mail

September 05, 2007-Green card arrives in mail

My card was ordered on July 13th and I still haven't received anything. Please let us know when you receive yours, I will do the same.

3/25/07 AOS & EAD received

3/30/07 NOA of AOS & EAD

4/24/07 biometrics appointment

6/26/07 Infopass appointment for EAD (no interim EAD anymore, will send email)

6/27/07 infopass appointment to check response to email: email was not sent, promised to send again)

6/27/07 received phone call from USCIS local office that there is RFE (I-864)

7/5/07 I-864 sent

7/13/07 EAD card production

7/16/07 EAD touched

7/25/07 email saying ead approval notice sent

7/26/07 EAD in hand

7/26/07 interview date for 8/20

8/20/07 interview went well RFE (TB test)/ 485 approved pending receipt of RFE

8/27/07 RFE submitted

9/5/07 CRIS email saying we've sent welcome letter

9/7/07 GC card production

Anyone know why there is such a HUGE discrepency between the production and mailing of EADs? You would think it is a pretty straightforward process. I got my card production notice July 24th (it had been ACTUALLY put in production before that no the 17th) per the USCIS customer service representative.

Some people get their EAD within 4 days of receiving the e-mail, others haven't gotten it in 2 weeks, anyone know what is going on to cause this?

My card was ordered on July 13th and I still haven't received anything. Please let us know when you receive yours, I will do the same.

My EAD card was supposedly mailed on July 10th and I still haven't got it. Is there any way to find out if it has actually been mailed?.

Well my hubby was approved July 19th for his EAD and he received it today - so it was exactly 1 week until he got his card.

I-130 Filed - Sept. 15, 2006

129-F Filed - Oct. 27, 2006

I-130/129F Approved - Jan. 10, 2007

K3/K4 Visas Approved - May 4, 2007

EAD filed for Hubby - June 6, 2007

EAD NOA for Hubby - June 13, 2007

AoS filed for Hubby and Son - June 15, 2007

10 Year Green Cards Received!!!! - October 12, 2007

Done until naturalization!

Congrats!

It looks like the National Benefits Center is really dragging their feet compared to all the others. Sigh.

Well my hubby was approved July 19th for his EAD and he received it today - so it was exactly 1 week until he got his card.

Actually, his EAD was transfered to Vermont for some reason - though it was never explained to us why.

We got an update today saying that an approval notice has been sent in the mail. Does anyone know if this usually happens around the time you get the work visa in the mail? Thank you for all of your responses!

Amelynn, I got mine yesterday (i also received an approval notice email the day before you got yours,), yours will probably arrive in a day or two more. Good luck.

Got my card in mail as well. Can't blame the USCIS for the confusion. Since I was out of town I was relying on my friends to check out my mail and it just turns out that EAD card was amongst a pile of mails that had gone unnoticed. Not sure when it came, but then now I have it and I guess thats the end of story. Good luck to all those who are still waiting. I hope you get yours soon as well..........

Obtained our EAD card within about 3 months after applying.
