Hello,

my husband recently got DQ’d for his CR1 visa. His embassy is Abu Dhabi. He also recently got a job offer for residency in the US as he is a doctor and he is due to start in July 2023. What is the procedure and is this job offer sufficient means to expedite his case? If any one has any insight on this expedite procedure please do share. Thank you in advance!

Expedites are typically considered on the basis of the US citizen's circumstances, not the foreign beneficiary's.  So your husband's US job offer likely doesn't count.  But it won't hurt his case to request an expedite anyway.  Just set your expectations low that it will be approved.  As the case is already DQ, you may need to contact the consulate directly for your expedite request.

You won't know unless you try. Email NVC at NVCExpedite@state.gov with proof and see what they say.
