How can I get the 48 months extension letter for I-751

Hey everyone,

 

My ROC application is still pending and I have the 24 months extension letter, how can I get the new 48 months extension letter? Can we apply for it or do they send it automatically?

AOS from K1

January 31, 2020:  Sent AOS application packet.

February 4, 2020: NOA date.

February 10, 2020: NOAs received.

February 19, 2020: Biometrics notice received.

February 25, 2020: Biometrics Appt.

August 18, 2020: EAD Approval notice.

August 27, 2020: EAD card received.

August 28, 2020: " Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview " 

September 21, 2020: SNN card received.

January 14, 2021: " Interview was scheduled "

January 22, 2021 : Interview letter received.

February 24, 2021 : Interview day.

February 24, 2021 : " New card is being produced "

February 25, 2021 : " Case was approved "

March 2, 2021 : Approval Letter received in the mail

March 3, 2021 : " Card was picked up by the USPS "

March 3, 2021 : " Notice was returned to the USCIS because the Post Office could not deliver it "

March 4, 2021 : Green Card received in the mail

March 5, 2021 : " Card was delivered to me by the Post Office "

March 7, 2021 : " Duplicate Notice was mailed "

They are being sent out automatically. I have not received mine (filed July 21) but was told by a number of people on the forum we should receive them.

I received mine about a week ago. I am an August 2021 filer and my case is at the NBC (grr.....)

Wow, still waiting since Feb 2021? That must be annoying. Did you file with divorce waiver, had RFEs or radio silence since reusing biometrics?

The latter, face palm. Yup, I hear you bro, super duper annoying. Divorce + VAWA, so I guess the USCIS just toss my package towards the bottom of the I-751 ocean. Radio silence is my fate I bet lol, nothing much I can do here besides had my N-400 filed.

We are 12/2021 filers, biometrics reused and case is at LIN.  No 48 month extension letter received yet.

They (USCIS) are slowly starting to send them out it should not be to much longer for you all to receive them! Several folks including me have gotten them in the last couple of days!

It would appear that in many of these cases, filing for citizenship is bubbling them from the bottom of the I-751 ocean floor to the surface.  People seem to be getting traction for combo interviews.  Just food for thought as you navigate what sounds like a rather exhausting journey!
