Just wanted to update everyone on my case. 

I had my biometrics appt on 4/3/2023 and my case status immediately after changed to "we are actively reviewing your case." estimated time is down to 9 months. Interestingly enough, I got a "we have taken an action on your case" email a day AFTER my status changed. My FO is Montgomery, AL.  Best of luck to all of us

Hello! Our FO is also Montgomery. To give you an idea of what to expect as far as timing, we filed January 27th, did biometrics Feb. 23rd, and we received the interview notice 3 days ago - interview is May 10th. It's very likely you'll end up with an interview in June :)

That would be awesome! I'd be curious to hear if you guys get same day oath. I've been reading some reviews on their google page and it seems to be the case for a lot of people.

Interesting, I thought that Montgomery didn't do same day oaths but I just saw the reviews you're referring to! I hope we get lucky and are able to do that. I'll update here afterwards with our experience.

I mailed my packet on March 29 2023 based on military service.receipt notice sent out the next day  on 30th.case is actively being reviewed. No biometrics notice even though I did a walk in. No estimated time online either. But we play the wait game.

Hi all, I did my biometrics on Monday (April 10) and it was so fast. Maybe 10 minutes max? My case status also changed by the time I got back home, and it now says they "are actively reviewing my case" with an estimated time of ~9 months. 

 

Interestingly though, the approximate processing time here (in Los Angeles County) is longer than that, soo who knows. I've also had no movement or development on my i751 (Removing Conditions). Good luck everyone, waiting is FUN, ha 🎉

So here's another update!

Yesterday I did my biometrics and today I got my interview scheduled.

That is faster than what I expected.

I know it's crazy! I wasn't expecting anything before 9 months like the website shows the estimated time.

Each case is different, someone else filed the same day as me and we both got bio same day at the same office and he got the interview notice next day while Im here a month later still waiting.

 

 

2/13/23 Mailed application to USCIS

2/15/23 USCIS Received Application 

2/25/23 USCIS Scheduled for bio appointment (online update)

3/15/23 Bio appointment 

3/15/23 Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS

7/25/23 Interview was scheduled
