I am having a difficult time with the birth certificates of my wife.  There are 4 pages...2 pages in English and 2 in Spanish.  I can't reduce the size to get to 2 MB.  Can I upload the 4 documents separatelyy?  I have compressed them and combined the PDFs.  I get an error message that the upload is too large.  I am not sure what I am doing wrong.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you using a proper version of Adobe PDF?  If so, there is an option to "optimize" the pdf which will shrink the size without jeopardizing the quality.  

 

Your other option would be to scan at a lower resolution.

Scanned at low resolution you can get much more than 4 pages in a PDF less than 2 megabytes.
