Hello,

I am a crew member on a ship and i am going to ask for the C1D visa, (this is my second C1D visa), in the ds-160 i have to answer "Yes" or "No" for the question "do you have any other relatives in the US?"

the thing is, i just found out that a half-nephew that i have no contact went to US 1 year ago, and now i don't know what to answer here,

can anyone help me with this doubt?

thanks.

Of course you answer yes if you have other relatives in the USA.  Always be 100% honest on any federal government form or you will face problems down the road.  Why would you be hesitant to answer truthfully?

what if a person have no idea that have a relative in US ? this person will also answer with "No", this is kind of confusing to me

The person is not completing the forms or answering questions. The question is for you to answer.

Because if they ask me something about this person, i have no information, almost no connection with this relative,

This is exactly what you tell the visa officer, e.g. you have no information and very little connection with this relative.

Always tell the truth.

Good luck !
