RFE for I-864, asking for joint sponsor question

Hello everybody.  I am trying to adjust my mother's status.  Filed i 131 and i 485. My family didn't have enough income to show, so we tried to use our assets instead. That didn't work and I got an RFE that asks to find a joint sponsor and for that joint sponsor to fill out a separate i 864 and submit that. 

So my question is : should I as a primary sponsor fill out a new i 864 as well? The thing is, this year we made enough money for our household size. So i am assuming if I use the most recent 2022 taxes for i 864 and submit that along with the joint sponsor's i 864,  it might help the case?

Or should i not do that since they didn't ask for me to fill out a new one?

Any input will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your response! So it will be ok to send two i-864s? one from me and one from joint sponsor (since they asked to find one)

I am just worried they might not like me sending them information they didn't ask for.

Maybe or maybe not.  I believe that the interviewing officer is not obligated to accept the petitioner's income, even if it meets the minimum requirement.  Since he has asked for a joint sponsor (I-864A), he may not change his mind on that point, even if the petitioner's income is suddenly high enough.  Definitely submit a new I-864.  You have a choice to either try it without the I-864A (joint sponsor) and potentially add an additional several month's delay if the officer deems it insufficient, or submit the I-864A right away to make your case fool proof.
