Just posting to find out if anyone has had any luck expediting EAD on the basis of being a healthcare worker? I have tried twice and been rejected but both times I had not passed the 90 days mark, looking to try again soon as I now past 100 days, has anyone had any positive experiences with this?

Do you have a job offer?

What did you submit so far?

Have u passed the tests in USA for certification or documents necessary for work in your profession?

Yes, I'm a licensed pharmacist in the UK and had been practicing for over 7 years before I moved. I've given the initial exams needed to convert my license and also have a valid pharmacy tech license for Illinois as well as valid intern license for Michigan. I've also had a valid offer of employment to work as a pharmacy tech with one of the pharmacy chains since January. Not sure what I'm doing wrong besides the 90 day thing..

Yep I have a valid offer of employment for pharmacy tech, pharmacy tech license valid until next year. I submitted these along with my UK license which is also still valid, I also submitted confirmation of me passing the conversion exam.

Similar story but in terms of my husband, the beneficiary. He’s a doctor and was offered a residency position after he Matched this month. He got DQd on the 15 of this month, and I sent an expedite request today as he received an acceptance letter and contract from his hospital. I’m also a doctor, but currently unemployed and I used financial income as a reason to expedite as he would be my main financial support if he is able to avail this job. NVC emailed me a few hours later stating that they will send my case to the embassy (Abu Dhabi in our case) and they will make the final call. Praying the expedite request works, and will be completed in time. Will keep you updated.
