@Boiler hoping this is the not longest version of AP. When i asked the CO if they need to handme any paper (such as 221g), in reponse he said all looks good, waiting for some checks. I have to travel in the first week of January and would have to request them to return the passport. I also mentioned this to CO in which he said the checks could take a day or two or a week n half.

Depends on what they are checking, I do think it is good to get it in now as I expect the NIW to become more NIW in the future.

Interview Letter received yesterday for an interview in London on 3rd February. I'm EB-1A, I was DQ on 19th Nov and made a transfer from Paris to London on 2nd Dec which was confirmed on 5th Dec. I share my full timeline in this other thread's post for all the info.
Good luck to everyone.

How was your interview experience

@Nulasco I shared my full interview experience in another thread, you can find it below. It all went well.
Since then, my CEAC status moved to "Issued" on the 4th (YaaaY 🎉), passport was with courrier on the 5th and first delivery attempt on the 6th. I had to reschedule the delivery so I don't have my hands on my visa yet but it's all but done now and I can't be more happy.

Hello everyone, I just found this site. I am DQ'ed for my EB2 NIW case since December 23 and transferred my case to London in February 24. And since then waiting for my priority date 01.08.2023 to be current which there is no movement for months. Hope I can finish the process soon

Hello

Did you manage to finish your process? How long did it take for you after the case was transferred to book an interview? Seems like case transfer is longer & delayed?

Case transfer cases are longer and more delayed, it takes time to get the file back from the original consulate.

Hi Everyone,

Could any please guide if anyone encountered similar error while paying USCIS immigration fee for Green Card processing after visa issuance, as while I was trying to make payment using the A number (DOS Registration Number) as shown on the visa, I was getting an error that "we could not find the A number of Department of State Id you entered", do we really need to fix this before travel and make payment or we can pay this at the port of entry as well, as we are travelling coming weekend?

Thanking you for the feedback.

You can pay afterwards, that’s fine. Odd that they can’t find it though, when was the visa issued?

Hi @appleblossom, Thanks for your feedback, Visa was issued in beginning Jan, or I might contact back Embassy and seek their assistance in this regard. Dont know if they have option to pay at port of entry, would be easy, Thanks &  regards

No, you have to pay it online. If it was issued that long ago it must be in the system, are you absolutely sure you’re putting the right numbers in?

@appleblossom Yes, made the biggest mistake of this process - transferring after interview was scheduled.

Whoever is reading this - please note -

Never transfer your case after interview is scheduled - best to transfer when the case is still at NVC.
