Hi Everyone,

Adding my voice to the discussion, I'd like to know who in London has received an IL for EB2 this month and how long it took to go from DQ to IL. Additionally, those with experiences this year—that is, those with active PD on the VB—pique my curiosity more.

In addition, I would like to know how long it took when your PD became current before NVC issued you an email on your IL in London.

There's a table on various posts with timelines on - please do fill in your timeline as well as it helps hugely.

But figure about 3-4 months from DQ to interview as a rough guide.

Good luck.

Thanks @appleblossom for your quick response. My PD is 23 June 2023. I guess I was DQed in June 2024 this year with the following email from NVC (The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to scheduling your immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy overseas.NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in London, Great Britain And Northern Ireland to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner, and attorney (if applicable)). I only hope this is the DQ letter.

Also do you have the posts of tables I can do my comparisons or you can help me with the analysis with my PD date.

Thanks @appleblossom

Yes, you were DQ'ed in June then. So hopefully an interview letter soon.

The tables are in the thread above, scroll up and you should find them, although I'm not sure if it's been updated recently but should give you an idea at least, it's not hugely different now to how it has been for the past couple of years.

Best of luck.

Hi everyone, I did my interview yesterday in London for EB2. CO approved my application and said nothing else was required from me and cancelled my non immigrant visas and said passport would be returned within 2wks. Since then my CEAC has turned to Administrative Processing (My PD is current). I recall this being talked about before somewhere but can't find it. Any idea how long it usually stays like this before saying Issued? Thanks

Congratulations @PACMAN82 , your status should change in a day or two to Issued and should take 3-4 days to be delievered at your home address. Can you share what questions that you were asked in the interview? thanks

Mine was AP for just couple of hours, before it changed to issued. I had no reason (links to high risk countries, TAL occupation etc) for it to be 'proper' AP though. Hopefully yours changes very soon too, congrats!

May I know the reason for AP please? Thanks

Everybody has Admin Processing, but it's usually just the final checks on your application before a visa is issued, to check that every box has been ticked.

But if you're put in 'proper' AP (i.e. it's sent off to DHS for more checks) then it can be for any reason. Usually links to a high risk country (Middle East, Pakistan, Nigeria, etc), or experience in an occupation on the TAL list. But it can also be something as simple as sharing a name with somebody dodgy, or a criminal record that needs checking out. Basically for a myriad of reasons, and you usually don't know why.
