Thanks for your reply, it looks like I am not getting one today, the wait continues...

You’re EB5 right? So there’s no more visas available for this year, the quota was reached on August 16th.

For those who recently completed their interview, how long did it take for you to receive/ be able to collect your passport afterward?"

4 working days. They say to allow 2 weeks but it’s usually quicker.

Hi, yes I am EB5.  Did you mean this Fiscal year (till the end of September)?

Yes. So you wouldn’t have been expecting an IL anyway, hopefully in October though.

Good luck.

Transferred from another consulate do you mean? Or just from NVC? What does your CEAC status say?

Not transferred from another consulate. Just through NVC.  Once they did the transfer, they have provided me the new case number starting from LNDXXXXX

The new case number can be tracked via Caec tracker, the status says 'at NVC'. Some people say that DQ stays the same even after the transfer  so not sure if I will be at the start or at the end of the queue for interviews at London consulate. Any guesses as when should I be getting the IL?

So has your PD only just become current? I'm just trying to work out why it's taken so long if you were DQ'ed in February. If you could fill in your timeline it would be super helpful.

There are no visas available at the moment due to the quota being met, but hopefully it'll be at some point in October. CEAC will change to 'in transit' when it's actually transferred to London.

PD March 23

DQ Feb 24

PD was current in July 24

August - 24 - Initiated transfer to London Embassy through NVC. My previous consulate has backlog and takes ages to get an interview :D

September 24 - NVC emailed me a new case number which corresponds to London Consulate :D Happy days

Ah, I see, the delay makes sense now. So hopefully interview maybe December as a very rough guess.

Depending on your previous consulate, transferring may add quite a bit of extra time for background checks after interview, so just be prepared for that, if it's a consulate like Lagos or Islamabad (which I assume it is from what you've said).

Good luck.
