Could you fill in your timeline? Then people won’t need to ask and it’s so helpful to other EB applicants, we need as many as we can get. Same for you please @PACMAN82? Thx. 😊

Done! Thank you for all the help and guidance that you're providing to all applicants here :)

Folks, that have landed in the US after EB2 GC: do you get a "temp" Green Card that's only valid for a year or the GC that we get is valid for 10+ years?

Thank you so much.

You get both. The visa that’s put in your passport is endorsed upon entry, and that acts as a temporary GC for a year to give time for your actual plastic GC (which is valid for 10 years) to turn up in the mail.

Hi Guys,

Has anyone received an IL for EB2 in London this month? I see the CR1 guys have been getting letters throughout the month, yet another today with a DQ date after mine. I'm just hoping that they haven't got around to sending out the IL letters for EB visas for the month yet. I have been current for over 8 months now and still no IL, the process is very frustrating. I just hope my Job will still be available after all thus waiting.

Hi…

why your case takes over 8 months?

For those who have been Documentarily Qualified (DQ) for employment-based visas in April or May and have received an interview letter, could you please share your experiences and timeline?

I have been Current since Dec 2023 and DQ since April 2023. I moved my case from Abu Dhabi as they are currently taking over 18 months for Interviews. I know of DV winners who lost their GC because the embassy didn't schedule their interview in time, it's a shambles. I transferred to London as I'm a UK citizen. Case was accepted on 13th May with a new case number. I'm still waiting for an IL even though I see people getting them with DQ dates after my case was accepted in London. It's just very frustrating as I have a job offer that will expire soon and London will not expedite my case either so have to wait.

No worries, just read back on the thread about your transfer. Will let you know if I get an IL! DQ date was May 20th for me

Hi have you received IL?  Oh it seems that you already replied to this question this Friday.  Hope you can get it very soon and please keep us updated.
