No worries. OK, so you're definitely in the queue for an interview - out of interest, why has it taken 6 years though?!

Are the other cases spousal applicants? They're usually given priority, so you may find that's why they have had IL's and you haven't. Hope you hear soon, good luck.

Thank you for your comforting words. My PD became current just last year, and since then, I have embarked on the I-824 process...

Go to “Only EB1/EB2 update” thread please. There is a person still waiting on EB2 at London consulate and their DQ was April 21, 2023. In this case they almost certainly prioritize EB1 cases, as I expected.

Thank you for mentioning this. I am also EB2, at Stockholm Embassy, DQ April 6, and still waiting..

I don't think there is a backlog here..

Ah, ok, so you're from India or China? I understand the delay now.

China. If I were from India, I wouldn't have become current by now. I feel bad for the people from India on this perspective.

Let's hope for progress in the Visa Bulletin for people who are currently struggling.

Hi all.

Just jumping on this thread as keen to follow timelines for London.

We are an EB Other Workers category visa (EW class) application.

DQ'd 29 June 2023

PD is 25 July 2019.

Visa Bulletin PD 01 Jan 2020.

Hoping to hear something soon, and interview scheduled before the end of the year. Does that seem realistic?

Good luck to everyone waiting 🤞

For London, yes. Approx 3 months from DQ date to interview date there (at least for spousal applicants and EB1 - I'd assume EB3 too as well, but not 100% sure as I don't think I've seen any others). I'd reckon IL later this month, interview in Sept going on current timelines if EB3 is treated the same as other visa categories.

Hi everyone,

I am on EB3. My DS-260 was submitted on June 1, but I haven't heard anything from NVC since then.

On my CEAC portal, it states that my next step is to submit the civil document; however I can't find anywhere to upload the document on the website.

Do you guys know what's going on? Could it be due to the technical issue on their site?

And how long does it take to hear from NVC?

Thanks a lot!

You have to mail your documents, EB applicants can't upload. The address to send them to should have been on your welcome letter, it's usually this one -

DOS Visa
44132 Mercure Circle
Sterling VA 20166

Thank you so much for your information, @appleblossom  😀

I just checked the welcome letter and found the mailing information below. May I ask if it means that I can mail the civil document anytime?

Last month I checked with my attorney office and asked them about when to mail my civil document in since we already have the document cover letter attached on the welcome letter.

However, their staff told me that they will have to wait and receive a notification from NVC instructing them before sending the document in. Can I ask if that's really the case? I find that it kinda contradicts to the email below.

Again, thank you for helping out. 😀

Your lawyers are completely wrong. The welcome letter IS the instruction to proceed. And it would be far quick to just mail it all yourself rather than sending it to your lawyers and then waiting for them to forward it on. I have lawyers but they didn't mail any docs for me, I did it myself to save time.

Tbh, it worries me that your lawyers are getting something so basic so wrong, and have cost you a month's delay already. I'd make a formal complaint if I were you, that's really bad.

Wondering why the delay in Aug visa bullitin, hopefully this indicates a forward movement in EB2

Not sure it's delayed? It's usually mid month or even later (June's wasn't released until 23rd May). This year release dates have been 13th Jan, 15th Feb, 13th April, etc so it could still be a few days off.

Fingers crossed it does move though……..🤞

OMG! Can't believe they made such a silly mistake!  Yea, you are right, I should just mail it all myself.

Thank you so much for letting me know, @appleblossom 😀 I really appreciate it! Otherwise, I would be waiting another few months for nothing.

Is your PD current? If it's not then it doesn't matter as much in the grand scheme of things, but if it is then that's a big delay for their misinformation!

Yep, my PD is current (Dec 20, 2019). My attorney got my NVC welcome letter on Feb 2022, however they didn't bother to notify me until half year later. Sigh! What a chaos!

In my case, since my PD is current, do you think that I will get an interview from London Embassy very soon once I get the DQ? Don't know what is the waiting time currently.
