Thanks, my interview today went well. It was a friendly conversation like you mentioned. Now i'm just waiting for my medical results to be updated and then i'll recieve my passport soon.  On average how long does the US embassy take to stamp and return the passport assuming that everything is approved?

congratulations. Assuming they have medical records, its around 10 days (for me). But depends on administrative processing. Hope you receive it soon.

Pleased to hear your interview went well. Hopefully not too long to get your passport back. Can I ask when you got your IL. I'm trying to gauge when I might receive mine. Thanks

Yes, you can go through the London consulate, but my point is that you are asking about the time for your PD to become current on the VB, and then it's based on your country of birth regardless of where you are living. For example, somebody that was born in India but living in London would have to wait a decade or so longer than somebody that was born in the UK.

I'd STRONGLY recommend not doing an employment based immigrant visa app without a very good lawyer. Ours took several months to put our case together, and the submission was thousands of pages.  I think spousal or family based cases are fine to DIY, but not employment based personally.

Your friend was very lucky, that's unusual - official processing times show 10 months IIRC, figure about a year and then if it's sooner that will be good, but it doesn't really matter as your friend won't be able to get a visa until her PD is current anyway.

Seems @jeleven hasn't even applied yet.

I prepared both my EB1-A application and EB2-NIW applications on my own, and got both approved by the grace of God. I submitted both with premium processing, as I didnt understand the concept of priority date when I fist did the NIW, and when I saw how long the waiting time was, I decided to also apply for EB1-A

Sounds like it was your hard work rather than God that meant you were successful. 😂 Well done, hope the visa application goes as smoothly. Personally there's no way I'd have done my own app, I just wouldn't have known where to start.

Not sure God has much input with USCIS.

Could you fill in your timeline? Then people won’t need to ask and it’s so helpful to other EB applicants, we need as many as we can get. Same for you please @PACMAN82? Thx. 😊

Hi Appleblossom I have updated timeline. PD 19AUG22 and DQ 12APR23. I recently changed embassy from Abu Dhabi to London, it was changed by NVC on 13th May. I'm hoping to get an IL soon. I was wondering when they usually go out for London. Thanks

Have any ILs been sent out in June for EB2 visas? It seems appointments have drastically reduced. Any updates appreciated.

They’re not usually sent out until the end of the month, I wouldn’t worry unless it reaches July with no IL’s.

Based on what are you saying that appointments have drastically reduced in London?

The reason I suspect the appointments have reduced is no one is reporting ILs and in the other visa categories only a few IL have been sent, even some who were DQ on the same dates and not all have received IL. It's probably just my paranoia getting the best of me. But have been waiting 6 months for an IL since my date became current. Admittedly only been waiting for 6wks at London embassy, so hoping I hear something soon.

Thanks @appleblossomI'll keep my fingers crossed I hear before the end of June.

I think it is just your paranoia, I bet when the stats come out they'll have done the usual amount. Not everybody is on social media or forums!

6 weeks is perfectly normal, particularly if it was a transfer, usually takes a while longer. So you may well hear very soon, good luck.
