Congrats @CMingo @Luis M @starnsy

Do you mind sharing what was your PD?

PD 10th June 2022, unfortunately just realized I'll have to cancel and reschedule  my Interview for a later date as wife is due around the same days.

Just wondering, if you received your IL and the appointment is in two months, can you do the medical right away?

You can book your medical examination as soon as you receive your IL (5-10 business days waiting time). You need a recent GP summary though. It cannot be older than a month when doing your medicals. In my case it took me 2 weeks to get my GP summary.

You can, but just bear in mind you only get 6 months from the medical to use the visa, so it would only give you 3 months ish to move once the visa is in hand. Less if there was a problem at the interview i.e. A missing document you had to send it afterwards.

I booked my interview before I had my IL, as we only had one possible week we could have it done in. And we planned to leave straight after getting our visas anyway.

Re: the medical care summary, you should be able to download it instantly via the NHS website if you’ve registered for that, rather than waiting for a GP practice to send it.

Good luck.

HI all,

Just curious on what you see when you login to the CEAC system now that you have an interview date? (see screenshot below from my login)

Does it say at NVC for you as well? Or does it say anything else?

If it helps, mine just changed to at London once it was transferred, and status changed to ‘ready’. IIRC it was about the same time I got the IL.

But I’m not too sure I’d rely on any status, my USCIS status still says it’s at DoS, and I got my visa in July and have already lived in the US for a month. 😂
