Apply for Green Card for my mom

Hello guys how are all doing, hope well.

quick question my mom has her tourist visa expiring in about a years.

can I apply for green card for her, I am an USA citizen.

she’s in colombia and I live in the USA.

Yes. Start with the I130. This will take 12-15 months for approval. Then the NVC processing and it will finally go to the consulate in Columbia for the interview   She can visit using an existing visitor visa while the IV is being processed.. but she is unlikely to get a renewal  with an IV pending

You cannot apply for a green card for her.  You can petition her for an IR5 visa.  

 

Does your mother want to permanently move to the US?  Or does she want to keep travelling back and forth while still residing in Colombia?  If the former, then petition her.  If the latter, then aid her in renewing her B2.

She will move permanently to the usa
