Can you check your online status, take a screenshot, blur any personal information?
If you check her case number, it will give you status updates. It usually goes from “case received” to “biometrics applied to your case” and then it goes to either RFE, or interview ready to be scheduled or interview scheduled if you do have an interview.
What was the last status update you remember seeing?

If you access now her case number, what do you see?

On March 24, 2021, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number..... We will mail you an interview notice. Please follow any instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

We didnt recieve any further communications regarding her i751.

But you did get a letter saying you would be getting the interview letter. That should have been enough for you to keep watching the mailbox and when it didn't come in shortly that is when your wife should have called. Not showing up for the interview stops everything. Before refilling I would call them to find out where the letter was sent and what the date was. How long ago was the first letter? Just maybe then you can beg them to reschedule it if it went to the wrong address as you did get the first one at the new address. You just might get lucky and get someone in a good mood. If not then yes you will have to start all over.

Watching for mail, yeah did that

The wait time wasn't alarming because it had already been a 3 year wait just to get that communication.  The wait time also wasn't alarming since we filed for her citizenship not too long after that.

Right there. They are telling you that they scheduled an interview. They usually let you know the date of the interview about a month prior, give or take. You should have followed up with them.

The good thing is that, apparently by your online status they case is not denied yet, so you might want to talk to a tier 2 officer (you have to ask to be transferred to them) and see if they can schedule your interview now.

So yeah, it's not USCIS fault. They updated the case status. It was up to you to keep checking for updates.

That's what I don't understand, technically my wife filed her n400 while waiting on status of i751 which I thought she could.  I have a suspicion her citizenship will be granted, I doubt they ever sent a letter regarding Interview date for the i751.

And I've asked him more than twice where his wife got the stamp from, but OP avoids this question. I'm trying to figure out how his wife got a stamp that's still valid to date.

P.S: He mentioned stamp on first post.

I'm "Mike - E - ing" at this point since OP isn't direct.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

What Is a Temporary Stamp? I-551 temporary evidence stamps are offered to prove someone has permanent resident status while they wait for their new green card. There are three main reasons an immigrant to the United States would be granted temporary status by United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

I do know and understand how to get a stamp and it's uses.

The reason why I was asking was simple...if you guys indeed missed the I-751 interview AND have been religiously going for the stamp at the field office, did you raise this with them? If YES, what did they tell you?

I'd be surprised if while at FO, she asked about the delay, was informed that "you missed interview" and she still kept going for the stamp without pausing to fix the situation, even going further ahead to file N400. If you asked, you should have known long ago and tried to fix this. I also think they'd deny her more stamps if she did indeed miss interview.

That's what I've been chasing..

I see no recourse. File a new I-751 as soon as possible to get this thing fixed.

@landl100 The I-551 stamp is only valid for a year. When was the last time it was obtained? Before or after March 24, 2021?

You are correct sir, the stamp is good for one year and Since green card roc has taken a few years my wife has received a few of rhe stamps, most recently was February 2022.

This stamp thing seems to be an old process not known well or a new process not known well..

Just refiling the i751 is no big deal

What situation was their for us to fix? Calling the uscis and asking them to hurry up and send stuff? If that works we will try that. "Hey hurry up" sounds like it will work

Figure out where the letter went to. If it's your fault, refile ASAP. If you find out it's USCIS's fault, you weigh your options. I like taking the easy way out. So, even if it's USCIS's fault, I'd rather refile than waste time appealing. This is what you were to fix.

You have been going "somewhere" to get these stamps. You should have inquired. I think you assumed that since you filed I-751, it isn't your fault so you're owed N400.

Anyway, if I were you, just file another I-751 over the weekend. There was a lady here a few months back who was denied N400 because of I-751.

So yes, the USCIS is not going to like this selectiveness. E.g. when it comes to stamps, the Infopass was scheduled and LPR showed up to the field office, but not for I-751 interview.

As advised by @Rocio0010, you may still be able to correct it by talking to a Tier 2 officer. Unless you want to pay extra $$$$, wait longer and have potential confusion by USCIS.
