Once K1 visa is issued

So my understanding is that once the k1 visa issued you get your passport back and along with a sealed envelope which is opened by border patrol on POE. Do you trust the embassy if they say that both the K1 and K2 documents are in the same sealed envelope instead of individually.

Only asking because since it cannot be opened you have no way to confirm 😕

11/21/20: I-129F packet shipped via USPS

11/25/20: I-129F delivered to Dallas Lockbox (Lewisville)

11/27/20: Backdated I-129F "received date"

2/23/21: I-129F fee charged to bank account

2/25/21: Text alert NOA1 Receipt/Case Number

3/3/21 :  Received NOA1 Letter in the mail

If the embassy says that, what is your other option but to trust the embassy?

Or take the the sealed envelope to a radiologist to get it imaged.

I know it's just that there has been much disorganization that it's not even funny I won't even begin the half of it. This is the US embassy in Havana Cuba 🙄.

I guess the real question is can they deny entry if the documents are not in that 1 envelope 🤔

If your consulate is still issuing paperwork  in the sealed packet .. most are now using electronic processes ..  there will be an outer mailing envelope which contains your passport and also the sealed packet.   You must open the outer mailing envelope to access your passports.. but leave the inner sealed envelope intact.

Are both passports in the same mailer ? If they are, then its safe to say that the paperwork for both applications are in the same sealed envelope. Just my thinking ..

The US embassy in Cuba’s consular section has reopened?

You realize that the passports will not be in a “do not open” sealed envelope hopefully?

Entry is never guaranteed.  This is the risk of traveling to the US on any status except U.S. citizen or LPR.  Even American Samoans can be denied entry.

Yes they started processing visas back in in May and then later announced that early 2023 they would begin processing all categories and they have done just that starting Jan 4th 2023 but it has been complete chaos.

Yes I know the passports are not. What I am saying that there is no way to know if all the documents are in the one envelope like they are claiming. Granted this is not my case because in my case my fiancé status changed to issued yesterday but the K2 says application received 🙄 so we are still waiting. I was asking the question about the sealed envelope for a friend who I have met through the process and asked me because she was under the same assumption as me that it was 1 envelope per person.
