How to complain about USCIS?

Unfortunately, there is no way to determine who is approved/processed before anyone else.

If you don't like that other people are approved before you, there'll be others who are upset that you were approved before them.

While you may not like what others are telling you, they're right.

I am a super boring person, and have a very boring FBI check, I'm sure. I was approved within a year.

Others may not be as boring as me, and require more background checks, or investigation....who knows.

What I miss most about Canada, in no particular order:

My family!

My friends!

KD!

Hawkins Cheezies!

Poutine!

Lays Ketchup Chips!

What I don't miss:

-40 degree weather

I just think some of the comments are not very friendly. I am just simply asking some ways to complain USCIS and I think I have a legit complaint. I called USCIS and they told me my cases were just waiting for my local office to schedule the interview. If that is the case, I don’t understand why people who applied after me got the interview before me. If they are investigating my case, at least they should tell me what is going on with my cases. Maybe it is online and anonymous, people can just be mean to others without any consequences.

I won’t reply to nasty and unfriendly comments anymore. It is not healthy.

As long as you are within the normal processing time, you will, likely, not get any attention. I don't think there is anything you can do.  Patience is still the key.

This is not a competition of whose case is taking longer, but 22 months is not that long considering they are now taking up to 48 months to process cases. In fact, @Crazy Cat’s wife’s ROC took 44 months and I suspect it finally got looked at because she filed for N400.
What I’m saying is, I doubt complaining will help and in fact, I’m sure they get at least a thousand complaints a day from different people in different parts of the world. And no, I can guarantee you they are not going to say “Oh, Tomalley has complained a lot, he’s obviously frustrated that we are approving newer cases first, let’s go and look at his case so he feels better”. No, unfortunately it doesn’t work like that.
And yes, I do feel your frustration about the long wait because frankly, my case should take two hours at most to be approved. But I also feel that I was very lucky because my green card got approved without an interview (back in the day that was not the rule!) and in six months. So I feel that I’ve already been lucky and actually, it’s not like being a citizen is going to pose much of a difference for me.

So again, complaining will not work. Suing them will. However, suing them does not guarantee that you will be approved. It just guarantees that they will work with what they have. Have you thought that maybe your background checks are getting longer, and that by forcing their hand you’re getting into a denial?

Personally, I think my case is very simple and easy. when I had my green card interview, the officer told me it was an easy case and she didn’t even ask me any questions but only what is your name, DOB, etc. I don’t understand what you mean by background check? Since they already checked me many times before when I applied for K1 and I-485.

Wait, something doesn’t add up here… I was looking into your post history and apparently, you applied for N400 and had your interview in July 2019… that’s not 10 months from July 2019 til now…

and how on Earth is it that your ROC has been pending for 22 months and you applied for N400 in 2019?

Hi, thank you. But again people in Orlando applied later than me got their interview and citizenship so this process time is not accurate.

I will try different approach to complain. Maybe it won’t really help but I want to let the system know that it is an unfair system and they should fix it. My husband and I decide to write to the director of USCIS. Maybe also ask an immigration lawyer friend for help.  The director of USCIS should know how unfair the system is and as a federal agency, it is not right. Especially we are paying thousands of dollars and this is simply not right. I also will contact my senators and congressmen again for help and I want to know why my cases are not moving especial people behind me already got their interviews and citizenship.
