Hi everyone. I’m concerned. Arrived to the country on Dec. 12, and still haven’t received my green card… I know others who have arrived after me have gotten theirs, so I’m trying to retrieve information from somewhere… Will logging into MyUSCIS give me some useful info? If the answer is “Yes”, another problem arises. I can’t seem to log in to MyUSCIS because I get stuck in the Authenticator step. For some reason, the verification code is not being sent to my phone (perhaps it’s because I changed my device for a new one or I hadn’t logged in in a long time). Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

My stepson arrived on Fx2 visa in November, and had green card 45 days later. CBP officer said it could take up to 90 days, so you are almost there. He said if you don't receive it after 90 days to call USCIS and give them the receipt number to check the status. I think you should have received it by now. Did you verify the address at POE with the officer. I double/ triple checked that to be safe. Never know, they seem to mess up addresses on a regular basis.

Also, on the phone thing, call your provider and make sure they don't have the notifications blocked. a lot of carriers automatically block the 5 digit codes that uscis and banks use to verify it's you with a text message. This could be why you don't get the verification code.

One Swedish guy I know of only received his conditional greencard a week before he was due to file for ROC. 😄

I just used the receipt number from the $220 immigration fee that you paid to track the status of the greencard. It says "

Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service:

On March 1, 2023, the Post Office picked up mail containing your new card for Receipt Number .XXX. We mailed your card to the address you gave us. The tracking number assigned is 920[...]7. You can use your tracking number at www.USPS.com in the Quick Tools Tracking section. If you did not receive the card, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we resend the card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

What is that supposed to mean? Is it in transit? Thank you

Yes that means it's in transit and you need to check the tracking number at USPS to see the exact status/estimated delivery etc.

Yes. I guess it'll be arriving late...? I assume. This is what it says when I enter the UPS number:

Moving Through Network

In Transit, Arriving Late

March 5, 2023

And also

Latest Update

Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility.

Apparently, it hasn't been prepared for delivery yet. Just ho`ping for the best and that it arrives soon

Hi everyone I entered in USA on Oct 10, 2024. Its been almost 90 days now that I haven't received my green card yet. Status just shows paid fees, what should be my next step ?

Once you get to 90 days (not before - they’ll just tell you to wait), you need to fill this form in to chase it up - https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDCForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndc

Old thread is now locked.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
