I have not received any updates. Actually my case was changed from Nepal to London, and NVC provided me with new case number through email but no new document cover sheet was provided (with new bar code for new case number). So, I send them with a cover letter stating my new cae number along with old document cover sheet (via mail). I did not received acknowledge email and I am not sure whether they received my documents.

I have raised public inquiry yesterday about the situation. Lets see what they says. @IRFUN have anything to say or any suggestions? Thanks

I'm not really familiar with that unfortunately. Although I would say there's nothing new under the sun. I'm sure there have been tons of cases similar to yours, some of which may have been shared here on VJ. I think the main thing is just to figure out whether they received your case yet. Once that's confirmed, it's only a matter of time.

In February it seemed like a lot of people got their interview letter 1 week after being DQ'd. Has anyone from late Feb/March received an interview letter yet?

We submitted to the NVC on Feb 27, DQ on March 14, and hoping we get out interview appointment for Naples, Italy soon 🙂

We requested a embassy transfer prior to submitting everything. NVC did ask me for my husband's local phone number in the new country. We provided what they asked for and have not heard anything as of yet. @IRFUN @snm2212

For me, I raised public inquiry to transfer my case (when it was in NVC). I submitted my resident permit in the new country and then 3 days later they gave me new case number via email. Please raise a public inquiry with NVC.

The Interview Letter is country specific so the only way to really get that answer is to connect with people who are waiting for an interview at the Naples embassy.

Yes, we submitted the public inquiry on 3/6, and then they replied on 3/8 requesting more information. On 3/8, we sent them the requested information and no updates. I am going to send another inquiry to see what is going on.

Yes, I understand. To my knowledge there isn't a backlog at the Naples embassy, but it doesn't look like there are people going through Naples here to get an idea of the timeframe.

I know the girl from Bulgaria got her interview letter fast because she had expedited her whole case. But I’m also in contact with 2 other Bulgarian women and it took them 30 days to get their interview letters. So it’s all a big mystery I guess. 😂

Today we received communication from NVC that they rejected my husband police certificate. I see that everything else was accepted, and it seems to be an error on NVC side. They rejected it saying that the police certificate was expired, and that is not the case. The police certificate clearly states it is valid for 3 months for submission and we submitted before the 3-month expiration. We have resubmitted with a written explanation, and hopefully they will get back to us quickly. Does anyone know how long it takes for a response after getting a RFI?
