Thank you for this. We have an appointment with our lawyer soon to go over all of our forms and it is so overwhelming. I keep checking the processing times for I-765 but keep getting different results of up to 15 months. Does anyone have any idea of what is a more accurate time line? I think I will lose  my mind if it’s 15 months, I was expecting maybe 7/8 🤣🥲

Biometrics appt early walk-in 4/5 (Seattle, WA 7:30am - they were super nice!)

We ended up doing this today. The ASC center we needed to go to is 2.5 hours from our house, but I had work in the same city today so my husband asked at the door if he could do his today. They allowed it and our status changed to Active Review an hour after for EAD and AOS. Back to the wait game now!

Hey guys, just reading this. Will walking in for biometrics at your local uscis office help to speed up process if you’re allowed? What do you need to walk in with, if you decide to try? NOA and receipt notice? Would love to get more info on this as I would definitely like to try.

I would try to call if you can if its a long drive for you. It seems some offices allow it and some don't.  We went for my husbands biometric appointment in New Orleans on Monday 4/24/23.  We were and hr early and there was a check-in desk before he could even get on the elevator and go to the correct floor.  They asked for his letter and they turned him away and told him to come back 15 min before his appointment. It only took him about 15-20 min to complete the process though once he was in. Hopefully your office is better! ❤️

I'm applying for permanent residence off a K1 visa.

I submitted AOS, I-131, and I-765 on March 13th, 2023
Biometrics April 14th, 2023
Submitted expedite request for I-131 at end of April, 2023
Got RFE for I-485 for a "missing medical report" May 2nd, 2023 (Medical is not required for K1 visas holders)
Responded to RFE with a letter explaining K1 requirements May 9th, 2023

Both I-131 and I-765 cases were terminated May 10th, 2023

The EAD and AP say that "We closed your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, because the applicant or petitioner received a status or benefit through other means." My I-485 hasn't updated yet, but I'm really hoping this means it's approved!
