If it' been 60 days, try this:

  • Email NVCResearch at : NVCResearch@state.gov
  • In the body of the e-mail put down
    • Beneficiary's Name
    • Beneficiary's Date of Birth
    • Petitioner's Name
    • Petitioner's Date of Birth
    • Write down your question. In this case, tell them it's been over 60 days and you want them to research where you petition is and/if they received it.
    • Attach your NOA2 notice

I've heard some people have success with this, but it's worth a shot while you're patiently waiting

We did write an email on this I'd and attached our NOA2 copy. This is what they told us .. I mean it's just ridiculous at this point that people have to wait over 60 days just for cases to be entered in the system. And also I don't understand the pattern in which people are receiving case numbers. There are people who have received approvals after me and they have already received their case numbers.😔😶... Extremely disappointed ☹️

It's 13th march on the website and 10th March on the actual Notice. Is it the same case with you ?

Totally understand your frustration. My NOA2 was March 16th, its been almost 60 days for us and we've sent 4 inquires and we get the same responses you're getting. After 60 days, I'm going to keep inquiring every week until they give me an update. I'll keep everyone posted when we get NVC Received status.

NOA2: March 10th

Finally got an email today saying they received our case and "Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems."

Ugh sharing everyones frustration about how long this is taking. Happy some movement is occurring and hoping for everyone the wait is over soon!
