I sent an inquiry on 3/20/23 (NOA2 3/17)  and the NVC said the following:

'"To Whom it Concerns:

Thank you for your inquiry. Our records do not show that we received your petition.

It can take up to six weeks for an approved petition from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to arrive at the National Visa Center (NVC). Once we receive it, we will enter your petition into the U.S. Department of State's database systems."

So based on this response, they told me to wait until April 28th for NVC to create a case number.

not me :( noa2 3/14

my NOA2 came on 3/08. i contacted the NVC 04/05 and they got back to me on 04/07. They said they have already received my case but it is awaiting entry into their systems. so hopefully, yours is already with the NVC as well or will be shortly considering that your NOA2 was received less than a week after mine.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

So an update to my case, I sent an inquiry on the 5th of April asking if the NVC received my case because it was a few days shy of a month after i received my NOA2. They got back to me on the 7th saying my case was received but awaiting inprocessing. Then today, the 10th, I received an email from the expedite department saying they havent received it yet. 😂 i am requesting an expedite with the NVC because I received one with the USCIS. But when I called the USCIS to ask if they sent it, they said they already sent it 🤷. So i am wondering who to believe 😂. on the good side, the NVC processing times are going down. I am praying for everyone here and I hope we all get our cases sent to the consulates soon! 🙏🏼

Contacted NVC on April 10th, they responded today(April 12th) that they haven’t received anything yet.

NOA2 -- March 10th, 2023

Inquiry sent April 12th, 2023 -- Still haven't received our case. Pasted exact wording below:

"Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center (NVC) has not yet received your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Although the Form I-797 approval notice mentions a delay of up to 30 days for cases to be delivered to NVC from USCIS, current shipping times may be longer. If you have not received a communication from NVC about this case within 60 days from the I-797 approval notice, please contact us again.

Once NVC receives this petition from USCIS and enters it into our system, all case parties will receive a notice that they can begin processing if a visa number is immediately available."

Everyone, looks like the trend for NVC to receive the petition and get a case in is about 48 days from approval (according to VJ Trends). Give it another 2 weeks or so and you should be good to go. I think most March approvals will be at NVC by the end of the month or early May. Good luck :)

I think the processing time is 45 days right now (according to VJ statistics for NOA2 to NVC). It looks like both you and me (NOA2 3/17) still have another 2 weeks or so to wait. I'll post here as soon as I get my case number. But everyone should be patient and wait about 4-6 weeks from their NOA2 before they start to worry

Are they also working on improving the processing time at NVC? Or that is s a normal expected time as the pre-covid?
