NOA2 3/3/23

I sent an email to nvcresearch@state.gov yesterday.

I received this response today:

To Whom it Concerns:

The National Visa Center (NVC) recently received your immigrant visa petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Your petition is now waiting for data entry into our systems.

As soon as your case is in our systems, we will send a Welcome Letter and instructions. Then, if you still need help updating your case, you can contact us by using one of the methods listed on https://nvc.state.gov/ask.

This has given me hope! USCIS keeps saying they havent sent our case yet. We will be at 60 days soon. NOA2: 10th March 2023.

Send them an email on the 10th. Mention it has been 60 days. I also attached my I-797 approval as well.

I guess it is taking about 60 days for them to receive the petitions.

I sent my fourth inquiry yesterday and they sent me the same following response:

Quote

Thank you for your inquiry. The National Visa Center (NVC) has not yet received your petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).

Although the Form I-797 approval notice mentions a delay of up to 30 days for cases to be delivered to NVC from USCIS, current shipping times may be longer. If you have not received a communication from NVC about this case within 60 days from the I-797 approval notice, please contact us again.

Once NVC receives this petition from USCIS and enters it into our system, all case parties will receive a notice that they can begin processing if a visa number is immediately available."

My NOA2 was March 16, 2023. So based on this we have to wait at least 60 days before they can do anything (investigation, support, etc). I'll post a follow up in about 12 days (when it hits the 60 mark) or earlier if I hear anything form NVC receiving the petition or creating the case.

I'll just keep patiently waiting

 Received the same response today!!!

NOA2 3/7/23   58days later

To all those still waiting, hang in there. I know the waiting process is exhausting, but at the end it will be worth it.
I feel bad especially for those who received their NOA 2 in February and haven’t heard anything yet. I am hoping they sent our petitions to NVC in the same batch.

Oh this seems to be a different email address. So you didn't send out an inquiry through their public form is it ?

NOA2 10th March - still waiting.

Yesterday I got an email from NVC that they have received my petition and it’s waiting to be entered in their system.
Our NOA2 is only 3 days apart, maybe they have received yours as well. What was the last time you did an inquiry?

I hope they received it 🤞..I contacted them on 28th April and received a response on 1st may that they have seen the attached approval notice , they will contact USCIS to send my approved file . Then on 2nd may they sent another response that they haven't received my petition and there is a delay of 30 days to receive file from USCIS and current waiting times may differ..

So I decided to make the next inquiry once I complete 60 days which would be by Tuesday. Hopefully by then they would have updated their timelines too.

Yeah its about 52+ days on average right now. Crazy, we've waiting 15 months for NOA2 approval and now they sprinkle extra delays to get to NVC. It'll be worth the wait
