Hello everyone,

i am US citizen and applied I-130 for my Canadian wife. we just got CRBA approved for our new born in Toronto US embassy.

now I received letter from NVC that my wife case is ready to proceed.

please advice, do we need to let NVC know about our newborn or we dont need to, if we do need to inform about new born,

how can we do that, either call them, email them, or add new born in application and then write a note that new born does not need any

visa processing in I-130 as new born already received CRBA.

many thanks for your help.

bye

The birth certificate and CRBA are evidence of bonafide marriage that are part of documentation you can submit to NVC.  Also adds one never to I-864.

Provide your baby's info in your wife's DS-260 form.  Answer "no" to the question about whether spouse/child is immigrating with the visa applicant (because US citizens do not immigrate to the US).  No need to update the approved I-130.  Bring the CRBA to the visa interview.
