Hi all,

How many letters should I expect in the mail after my case was accepted? I assume one for biometrics (waived or not) and the 48 month extension?

Seems like I'm getting a letter today outlining that my biometrics has been waived (I can see half the text via informed delivery, lol) but no extension yet so I assume i'll get that at some point this week.

I got a third letter with the access code to my uscis online account!

Go to this link: https://ceciva.uscis.gov/Alme/

At the top right, click on "Ask a Question" with a woman's face. When the chatbox comes up in the bottom right of your screen, type "infopass". Then, when prompted, type or click "Make an infopass appointment". When asked for reason for appointment, type again "Make an infopass appointment".

You should then be connected to a live person who will help you find your receipt number and answer questions to the best of their ability. I got my receipt code from them. I also did not get any notifications prior to doing this. After you get the code, you can check the status online via https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do and find out what's going on with it.

Hope this helps and doesn't come off too detailed, trying to assist 'cuz I know how it feels. 😎 BTW, best time to do it is in the early hours of the day, while everyone is at work, etc.

That address looks correct so that should be all good! Did they charge card/cash check etc? If yes, I wouldn't worry too much but @asmuo 's advice is really great! Doesn't hurt to reach out and check!

Anyone else have [link removed at poster's request] listed under documents? I am hoping it just means that biometric appointment is not needed and not that they are scheduling it.

Yea it turns out it was for biometric appointments. I guess if you are kids they do new ones.

Got my notice that my biometrics has been waived on Monday, no extension or info about online account yet.

Is it normal for them to arrive different days? Do they ship from different places or different days? I'm so paranoid because my USPS office always manage to lose my mail anytime it's something important lol.

Pretty sure there are multiple people on here that got the letters on different days, so no cause to worry! It's in the nature of USPS that letters may not move through the system at the same speed, even if sent from the same place.
