Gotcha, so that is final background and security checks received. My understanding is now they have that, the officer when they open your case have all they need to make their final decision. Hopefully wont be long now!

Oh wow, Thanks for putting the code into perspective, I have been wondering what it meant and the emails. Fingers crossed they will open it soon and I will finally see an approval!

These are mostly accurate from my understanding :)
Hope it helps if you get any other codes.

I am seeing FTA0

Sorry to butt in on another thread I have no business being in, but I was just curious what day it updated for you?

It seems for a lot of CR1 or AOS filings there happen to be big batch updates from what I've seen, but there's very little chat about 751 APIs. Mine updated to FTA0 on 1/13/25, almost a whole year after filing 🫠

Most 751s are taking at least 2 years. You probably wont see much happening for another 12 months or so.

I'm very much aware and that wasn't my question whatsoever. Not sure why everyone feels the need to say the same thing on here all the time quite frankly.

Well to put it quite simply for you if you are unable to understand - you posted your last update was on FTA0 on 1/13/25. And Given no one knows how well you comprehend the process, it is a legitimate response for you to gain some knowledge you may have been lacking.

You are welcome.

My PD is March 2023, Dec. 2024 I got the 3 emails. It was another "Case Actively reviewed". The last time I checked using the API trick I saw the last update i believe January 7, 2025. No other updates so far.

Interesting. I got one notification that looked to be background checks on a Friday and approved/card ordered on the Monday. Have you checked on the portal using the status "trick" to see what your last internal status update was?

What is the status trick? I'm curious!
Received I-751 March 24 2023
Actively Reviewed March 31 2023

No updates since

While logged in to myUSCIS, go to the url https://my.uscis.gov/account/case-service/api/cases/"your case number here" making sure to put your case number at the end. It will show a record of actions taken on your file in the form of event codes, including events that may not show on myUSCIS. An explanation of the codes is available here: https://niem.github.io/model/4.2/scr/BenefitDocumentStatusCategoryCodeSimpleType/index.html

My I-751 was received 3/31/2023, and actively reviewed 4/7/2023. No other updates on myUSCIS since then. But the API data shows event code FTA0 on 01/08/2025. FTA0 is Data base checks received, which I understand refers to background checks by other agencies, which are done in batches of applicants. Knowing this doesn't change the fact that I'm still waiting for the next step, but some information about the process is better than none at all.
