04/08 The Status has changed "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS."

I guess biometrics are likely to be waived.

BTW, I'm not a native English speaker, so I'm not sure the "actively" of what I use is similar to the "actively" of what Americans typically use. 🤔

Hi there , seems like we are totally in the same boat with exactly processing timeline till now . We will see what’s going on next ? Probably be patient to long period wait .

Joining the gang..!!

-I-751 mailed on 21 Mar 23

-Received and collected from Phoenix lockbox on 23 Mar 23

-CC card successfully charged on 27 Mar 23 - no text confirmation as yet (e-auth form was sent)

Joint filing, conditional GC expires mid-June 2023.

Let it begin! :)

Just to update on my "progress":

-I-751 mailed on 21 Mar 23

-Received and collected from Phoenix lockbox on 23 Mar 23

-CC card successfully charged on 27 Mar 23

-Text notification received on 28 Mar 23 with receipt # starting with IOE

-Status update on myUSCIS on 31 Mar 23 to "biometrics appointment was scheduled"

-Receipt notice 797/48 month extension notice received on 6 Apr 23

-Online access letter received 7 Apr 23

Waiting on the biometrics appointment letter to arrive to find out when that's scheduled for (a little worried as we've got an overseas trip booked on 20 Apr 23, but will have to just wait and see-hoping I won't have to attempt to reschedule)!!

My office is also listed as National Benefits Center, but as above, with an IOE number. No idea what to think of that, but trying to not read too much into it ;), I do enough overthinking of things already!!

I had my fingerprints taken at my CR-1 interview at the embassy in London, had them taken on my first entry into the US after the visa was approved in 2021, and have also had them taken again upon entry to the US one time we were returning from a holiday, as the CBP officer said they "didn't have them on file" 🤷🏻‍♀️, which is strange because there's definitely a big fingerprint on my GC.. but I suppose at least I'm getting the biometrics appointment we paid for in the application 😂! Who knows, shall just wait and see :)! Happy Easter all (if that's your thing, if not, happy weekend :))!

i really dont know how they choose who to reuse biometrics and who to get biometrics again. im pretty sure the last time I did my biometrics was in 2017. haha. never did it again after all the EADs and APs and second AOS til i-751. all reused. and yeah my GC picture was even before I had my nose done and all. LOL

I have heard if your name is close to or same as someone on any person of interest list, you have had any criminal involvement in the past or even if you have had police/military background at some stage with any form of firearms training it will trigger a new biometrics.

There are probably a lot of other random reasons, I think I even heard an attorney online say some officers can just request it if they decide they want to. So who knows haha.

You just wait... If you have a valid DL / state ID and unrestricted social security card - that's all you need in everyday's life. If you need to travel overseas, yes, you cannot travel with expired card only, need extension letter.

Why didn't you file when your 90 day window opened?

I believe the 90days window ends the day your green card expires and I filed atleast 3weeks before the expiration of it . I will wait patiently

You mentioned 'Status Updated on myUSCIS - how did you access that? All I can do with the code I have from the text is to check the status under

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus

And that's all I get :)

Once the NOA is here I hopefully can add it to my cases in my profile!

Hi all,

How many letters should I expect in the mail after my case was accepted? I assume one for biometrics (waived or not) and the 48 month extension?

Seems like I'm getting a letter today outlining that my biometrics has been waived (I can see half the text via informed delivery, lol) but no extension yet so I assume i'll get that at some point this week.
