Thanks so much for everyone who gave me the answers/advice to the questions in my previous post!

I don’t need to submit the copies of passport, correct? I just want to clearfy that because I got a new passport to change my last name to my spouse’s after I got my GC. Also, I thought some people submitted their passport copies for identification purpose…

I saw the comments that submitting the copies of driver license is a good evidence to show that we live in the same place, but my spouse has the driver license but I don’t have mine, so it doesn’t work. Like I mentioned above, I thought we needed those for identification purpose :’(

Thanks,

I sent copies of our passports and my US spouse’s birth certificate just in case but it is not necessary at all! I just did it because 2 extra papers wouldn’t make a difference in our stack (which was already small enough anyway 😅

Hello guys!

I am joining the March 2023 filers!

My husband and I filed jointly for the I-751.

We filed to the Carol Stream, IL PO Box.

Here’s our timeline:

Package sent: 03/11/2023 (on a Saturday).

Confirmed received: 03/13/2023 (on a Monday).
no updates so far.

We filed form G-1450 and used a Mastercard debit card. Waiting for the money to be extracted. Did not file notification form.

I’ll keep you posted guys. I am excepting my extension letter to arrive in the mail soon since I have international travel mid April and green card expires on March 23rd.

Good luck to all of us!

My online access code letter says my case will be processed at Nebraska Service Center

I don’t see anything on my docs tab either! Or I don’t even know if I am looking in the correct place lol. The only documents tab I see only asks me if I want to upload any evidence

California service Center and Texas historically are a bit faster at processing 751 cases so that’s good news for you :)
