Did you guys receive any email immediately after uploading and submitting the forms and financial and civil documents to NVC?

No, you won't get anything until a DQ email or RFE. See the link I gave you in another thread which sets out the process for you.

Applied for both parents in Feb 2023, received RFE in Jan 2024 and responded online 2 days ago.

Now anxiously waiting. TX service center.

You should be fine as long as you responded with enough evidence and followed the instructions in the RFE. It should take anywhere from a few days to 90 days to get a response. Please keep in mind that an RFE isn't always a bad thing; in fact, it's more like a second chance to tell USCIS why they need to approve your petition. Some people don't even get an RFE; they just get denied. Good luck!

How are you all doing? I can see DQ on March 19th on the CEAS site but I haven't received a message yet. I did have to submit my prior divorce info but other than that, we wait. I wonder how long it will take to get the interview.

Did you get an email from NVC saying your case was DQ?

It's said " Your case is taking longer than expected to process. You will be notified if you need to take any action. "                They don't issue any RFE. Potomac Service Center.

Keep checking your "Documents" tab we found the letter there. good luck everyone

Can I know while filing i130 for your parents, did you upload their birth certificate? Because it asks for our birth certificate and not parents at that time. So wanted to check

PD - Feb 15 2023

Jan 27, 2024 - approved

Jan 30, 2024 - case transferred to NVC

March 6, 2024 - DQ

For people who submitted i130 for parents and i130 got approved without any RFE, want to check if you uploaded birth certificate of your mom dad too while submitting the application? Asking because it doesnt ask their birth certificate in i130 so I have not uploaded it but was wondering if that is needed upfront. Just dont want any RFEs so please do let me know if anyone has got it approved
