hello, I am a USA passport holder and my wife is a vietnam passport holder. She has her USA 2 year greencard

We will be traveling to sweden (Schengen area) in June. She already has obtain the Schengen area visa.

I booked our airplane tickets DIRECTLY with British Airwaves.  only bought 2 tickets (1 ticket each person). This is how the flight goes:

LAX (los angles) - Heathrow (London)

3 hour layover

Heathrow (London) - Sweden

That being said, does my wife need a transit visa when we land in London??

thank you
