Hey guys, maybe anyone had  experience with this situation. I'd like to know if its possible to undergo the interview for an immigration case not in a consulate overseas, but in the US if you are currently reside here.
Quick explanation, I am a Ukrainian citizen , that was forced to flee the war in the country and came to US with a U4U parol. I had the case to reunite with my US relative before I came here via U4U parol.
So now it has received DQ and my interview will have to be in Poland. So wonder if i can change the interview location to US, instead of Poland.

You can file a I 485 to adjust status.

Just need to be in status when your Priority Date is current.

Petition was by me mother, that is GC holder, I do also have a sister in US, she is a citizen.

What is your visa case category?  F2A or F2B?  If F2B, what is your case Priority Date (PD)?

If your case is F2A, then you may be able to file I-485 to adjust status in the US now.  U4U parolee may file I-485, assuming a visa number is immediately available.  You may need to check your I-94 status, though.

If your case is F2B, it depends on your case PD.  As for getting a GC through your sister, that is not an option for you in the near future.  F4 (sibling of USC) cases take 15+ years, counting from petition filing date.

That would be F2B.  Until your PD becomes current, you may not file I-485 in the US, nor will you be scheduled for visa interview in Poland or any other US consulate.

So there's no way to change the location of that interview to US?

You cannot have a visa interview inside the US, as only US consulates conduct visa interviews.  Filing I-485 is the only way you can interview for a green card (not a visa) inside the US.

As has been mentioned if you are here in legal status when your PD is current then you can file to adjust in the US.
