The reason why I'm asking this question is because in the instructions it says if I'm not submitting a transcript, I must submit a copy of my 2022 taxes with my W2/1099 (which I don't have because I work abroad).

You can't submit what you don't have. You MUST submit either a tax transcript or 1040 with all schedules, etc, you filed.   Submit the complete 1040 package along with the letter explaining why you have no W2s or 1099s.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

So basically, a copy of my 2022 Taxes (1040, Schedule 1, Form 2555) and then a letter explaining why I don't have a W2 and/or 1099?

Do I need to submit my 2020, 2021, 2022, and a letter explaining why I don't have a W2 and/or 1099 in one document? Or do I need to keep all four separately?

1.  Yes

2.  Latest Tax year is required.  Other 2 are optional. 1 file is OK.

So basically I can have one document. Will this be a good idea? The first page is an explanation on why I don't have a W2/1099 form. Then the pages is my 2022 Taxes forms.

Below is what I'm planning to write with my taxes in one document. Any opinions if this is OK or not?

To whom it may concern:

This is Dante2019 (petitioner). I am writing this letter because I don't have any W2s and 1099s because I currently live and work in South Korea. We are not given W2s and 1099 forms. Attached in this document (2nd till the end of this document) is a copy of my 2022 taxes which included my 1040, Schedule 1, and Form 2555.

Sincerely,

Dante2019

Another Question

I have another question that I just realized. In my bank statements, it has a total of 4. The first two pages of my bank statement has my address and the statement. The third page has the interest paid to my account. The forth page just have bank stuff not related to my account. Do I need to show all the pages in my bank statement per month?

I just re-read the instructions. I just want to double check. Since I can't submit a transcript of my 2022 taxes to NVC. The only option is to send a copy of my 2022 taxes that I will submit to the IRS in a day or two. Since I don't have a W2/1099, is it correct to submit a copy of my 2022 taxes and an explanation on why I don't have a W2/1099?

The reason why I'm asking this question is because in the instructions it says if I'm not submitting a transcript, I must submit a copy of my 2022 taxes with my W2/1099 (which I don't have because I work abroad).

Your understanding is correct.  Carry on.  Note that in your case, "all" your W2/1099s equals zero.

If you don't mind me asking a couple more questions.

Question 1: In my bank statements, it has a total of 4 pages. The first two pages of my bank statement has my address and the statement. The third page has the interest paid to my account. The forth page just have bank stuff not related to my account. Do I need to show all the pages in my bank statement per month?

Question 2: Some of the PDFs I'm going to uploaded where larger than 2MB. So I had to compress them to a lower resolution. It's readable, but quality isn't good. Is NVC strict with this?

1.  If the first page shows both your name and the balance, that's the only page needed.

2. It needs only to be readable.

I'm about to submit my I-864 to NVC. I currently live and work in South Korea. Before I submit, I was wondering if anyone can double check or give me an opinion about what I'm about to submit?

Not sure why your saying 1040 Schedule 1.  You submit EVERYTHING including all schedules.  Just say Comlete 2022 Federal Tax Return.
